Outdoor Courses
We run a series of outdoor courses throughout the year. These range from first time on real rock to advanced rope techniques, multi-pitch climbing and Welsh Classics.
Our most popular course by far is the Introduction to outside climbing course.
On the course, we look at : belaying a leader; finding the route; anchors and belays. The emphasis is on getting as much climbing done as possible and leaving you feeling more confident about operating under your own steam in future.
Venues
We keep this as flexible as possible to allow for the weather, and for the wishes and geographical convenience of the participants. Fortunately, we are close to some great climbing, and locations we use include:
Clwyd Limestone (Llangollen)
Nesscliffe (bouldering mainly)
Pontesford
Further afield, North Wales and the Peak District are accessible for day trips, opening up the possibility of some doing some of Britain's best routes.
The next dates for our outdoor courses are:
Saturday 3rd April 2010
(All are introduction to outside climbing courses)
